Jai Ferrell is the airport director of marketing and creative services at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). In her role, she oversees all marketing outreach, brand strategy efforts, social media engagement and creative services for the world’s busiest airport.
Additionally, her team is responsible for promotional efforts for the Airport’s award winning food, beverage and retail program - ATL Skypointe and parking services that generate over a billion dollars in revenue annually. Ferrell’s award–winning career spans 15 years, including work in entertainment television, consumer products and sports contributions to Turner, CNN, Major League Baseball, Viacom and BET Networks.
Professionally, she serves on the global marketing and communications committee for Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) and has been recognized as Airport Business Magazine’s Top 40 under 40 executives in the aviation industry. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Spelman College and has a master’s degree in communication from Georgia State University. The Atlanta native is an active board member with the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA; graduate of LEAD Atlanta (2017); member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; and a life member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
I am amazingly fortunate to have a career that I love. After nearly 15 years as a marketer in entertainment, sports and consumer products, my compass has navigated to the world of aviation. Throughout my journey, I’ve identified key factors that have contributed to my success in my career. While my flight is not in the least nearing the end, the adventure of the voyage has been one of key lessons to help in navigation.
